研究领域为产品开发工程,产品全生命周期建模与管理,数字化制造及智能制造等,重点围绕基于模型的产品定义,数字化工艺设计,公差分析与仿真,制造知识建模与管理以及信息集成等方面,先后主持和承担国家自然科学基金,国家科技攻关计划,国家863计划,部委预研,企业工程项目及国际交流合作项目等多项。多次应邀到美国及法国的多所大学和研究机构开展合作研究。
